<p style="text-align: justify">In this article I am going to explore some of the ideas of a learning process called unconscious installation, that is typically found in some schools of NLP, these are my own interpretations, based on over a decade of learning and exploration, this article is dedicated to a friend of mine and you will find out who he is at the end of this article.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Today I am going to do a few thing’s to help get you playing with the nuts and bolts of using conversational hypnosis and I will be blending both basic and some advanced learning applications along the way- first we have a few ground rules, and then we can start playing- first rule if your just going to read this and not “do the exercises”- now, then you need to stop and come &lt;back&gt; when you are ready to play now- they are a number of thing’s happening at the same time here, ear, hear that over time you will get, yet first things first, we have to &lt;go back&gt; to that time and place, &lt;where learning new things “began”&gt; so we have to go &lt;back-to-kindergarten/nursery/pre-school etc.&gt;- or at least play with that playful mind set has a child and start with what we already know now, yet &lt;anew back there in new ways&gt; so has I mark out some of the patterning, I am doing with these &lt;-&gt; symbols you can allow them to not be part of what your not noticing as you are.- enjoying the way in which I am presenting these ideas.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">One of the first thing’s to start paying <strong>A</strong>ttention to if you want to get really good with conversational hypnosis is paying <strong>A</strong>ttention and building response potential at the other than conscious level of mind- So as a friend of mine was kind enough to point out a few things to me the other day, I though I would dedicate this to him, and share just a little bit of just how refined and advanced, I this stuff can be, and to show that things are not always as they seem.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">So we need to pay <strong>A</strong>ttention and <strong>L</strong>ayer in a series of connections that set up a series of associations- and a direction to place them in and through and between times with a number of potentials, for powerful change works now, yet as we are doing this in a very conversational way, then we need to make sure that the associations or anchors we build, within our communications, are recognized by the other than conscious mind, and this is done through response potential- and a consistent on going testing to make sure that we are building in chains of resourceful states- and responses to specific words, phrases and gestures, <span style="font-size: xx-small">(Visual &amp; Auditory anchors)</span> now because this is a written example, then I have adopted a few symbols to help me point out a few possibilities- and ideas&#160; to stand out.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Now if we just go BACK a little – we have our first two, too, to, 2 (tutu) potentials <strong>A</strong>ttention &amp; <strong>L</strong>ayer so we have to pay attention to the responses we want to <strong>L</strong>ayer in, when we are using our skills in conversational hypnosis- once we know what we’re paying <strong>A</strong>ttention to………, we then have to look at the idea of a “<strong>W</strong>hole-System” frame work and start playing with the context, and what content are we using to place our ideas into and on-to, what components of the&#160; “<strong>W</strong>hole-System” are we paying special attention too?</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">What makes up this “<strong>W</strong>hole-System” is it you and someone else? Or you and a group of people? What type of relationships are involved? family, friends, business? What environments are you in? home, out in the world i.e. nightclub, restaurant&#160; gym, etc, business your place of work or theirs? or some where else? what advantage and limitations are being set and created by environments?&#160; Then we have more personal aspects of the human systems, beliefs, values, attitudes, capabilities, motivations etc. how are these working? once we have this overview, then we can start to build our <strong>H</strong>ypothesis&#160; based on our “<strong>W</strong>hole-System” frame works- the idea is to work out the limitations within the system so we can build in a series of <strong>I</strong>noculations- and to notices the advantages within the system, so we can use them as leverage points- So <strong>I</strong>noculation is an important next step and by creating and building in <strong>I</strong>noculations- “we” have a very powerful way- to build in and design very powerful applications within- the way we present new ideas and learning’s to the other than conscious mind, because we want to create a multi level commutation- one where the conscious mind is taken in one direction, and the other than conscious mind&#160; is taken in another- and the aim is to align both, so we get a “<strong>W</strong>hole-System” integration-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">So lets go Back and recap what we have so far, we have <strong>A</strong>ttention, <strong>L</strong>ayer, “<strong>W</strong>hole-System”, <strong>H</strong>ypothesis and <strong>I</strong>noculation, each part is a stepping stone, and one of the many ways to go about thinking about how to apply a frame work- when applying the art of conversational hypnosis- to any context in the world, comes from plying Attention to how language functions, now we have some very powerful ways to use language- the way we use <strong>T</strong>ime based language- time based language allows use to change the context and content references people create to host their problems- and <strong>T</strong>ime frames are one of the most powerful ways in which we can accelerate change works-</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Now we have the past, the future and the present, “right now” you know this because “before” I pointed it out&#160; it was only a possibility that I would make a future reference to this- and now that is over, you now know- that something different could have happened where you would have noticed knew learning’s happening BACK there before we ever started at the beginning and something was being set up in the future where a set of associations- would grab your attention and layer in a set of ideas, with in a whole system of presenting a hypothesis- that would allow you-a frame work where you could use inoculation in useful and powerful ways, and have a glimpse of how (Time) based language can be used, which leads us to <strong>T</strong>esting for responses- now a vital key in doing any type of conversational hypnosis is to lead, lead, lead, that means running the show, yes you have to pace at (times and test) then lead again-and being mindful of all the chains and anchors and layered states you have and are building along the way once you have confirmed your response potentials- by firing off your anchors- that you have taken the (time to test)- once you have done that- then we can add in more <strong>O</strong>ptions- what else do we what to work with? add into create or by-pass the ideas on to your other than conscious mind that you are learning a lot more than you thought was possible, and we can open up many <strong>O</strong>ptions here, because this is really the playground, were we can chuck up into the presuppositions and gestalt&#8217;s of whole life metaphors- and create the dreams and the goals and the plans, or we can chunk down into the specifics, the how, where, when, who, what, and the why of possibility- and then we have the <strong>N</strong>ext step- what’s next so we loop BACK to the beginning &#8211; and this is in effect an ecology check, where are we now, what have we created, designed, implemented, what still needs refining- are the anchors we set functional and ready for integration- once you do this mental overview we are then ready for the system alignment.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">So be before I go down that path, at the start I made a note that a friend of mine pointed something out to me, so this article is dedicated to him- who is he, well we are about to find that out- this guy is really very cool and I hope you will visit is blog after reading this, so one of the key things to keep in mind is sometimes not everything is as it seems, and sometimes things are designed on purpose to create specific results- for me.. I like to test things out and some times that means- what I present might look a little sloppy- yet I am ok with that- because its when you are willing to experiment openly with ideas- you can push open new ideas new ways of thinking- and that’s what beyond trances is about- its about going beyond what tends to keep other locked in or down, in you can’t do it like that because of xyz.. and that one way of staying stuck, for me I know I have some educational limitations, yet I know brains and I know more about language functioning and how to make it work.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">So here we have an idea for a systems approach to how to apply conversational hypnosis, designed and dedicated to my friend- so here’s the outline.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">I hope this was a interesting demonstration for you to see, hear and feel, that if you know what and how to create and design applications- then you can take most anything- and turn into a learning tool, over time I will share a series of ways for you to start to play with some of the ways in which you can apply the art of conversational hypnosis- not just in therapy- yet in any context you need to be able to use language to create and powerful ways- to get results and to enjoy experimenting with new ideas.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Today we are going to talk around the idea, of attention, and  focus, focus and attention, are two of the primary  the stepping stones, in  getting the suggestions, that we are delivering to the people we are engaging  with, to stick, and to lay the foundation for the potential change process to  occur, If we was to look at your typical direct hypnosis session, you would be  guided through a process of relaxation, and a series of fractionation/deepeners-  and then be given a series of hopefully positive suggestions that would imprint  them selves into subconscious mind and create the change, (I  know that it a  very crude explanation of a hypnosis session, yet it is in a nut shell) so you  would have your focus taken inside, and your attention would be drawn to  allowing the suggestions to sink in and take effect.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Conversational hypnosis for me can and does work with or with  out eye closer, and if we are going to go beyond the eyes, shut way of doing  “trance works” in a much more refined way, then having ways to keep peoples  attention, going in the desired direction, then creating a <strong>shared theme </strong>for the results you are working towards, I want to introduce the idea  for working within the frame of <strong>Results themes</strong> normally when we  are presented with an issue, we tend to narrow our own reality on issue (X) and  then tend to get caught up within (X) in doing that we can often miss so many  other ways of working/playing with the issue(s) being presented, so setting up a  governing theme, that allows us to work in a holistic and generative way, will  open up more doors for results, one way for us to practice creating a results  theme is to play with a learning strategy, called “3framing” there’s two  versions there’s “hypnotic3framing”, and “cognitive3framing” both are set up in  the same way, yet have two distinct and separate functions, and in later post I  will cover, the what and how functions, of the two types.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">AN introduction to (Hypnotic3Framing) Part 1</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">H3F is a creative strategy for being able to do conversational  hypnosis and or (coaching) transformational conversations on the fly, which can  also be applied to and even within a context of a business meeting, yet that&#8217;s  more of an expansion of function.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">First we need to build a grid, this is a base grid, and serves   only as a stepping stone, I am doing this primarily from a top down approach, as  skill and experience is more important, and gives you a lot more to play with   rather than a mere “academic” overview.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Quickest way to build our grid is to Create a list of nine positive  normalizations key words in a 3 by 3 framework generated by the person your  working with or yourself relevant to and towards the resources you or the person  your working with wants access to more in the future.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A good way in getting the most useful resource base is to ask if there was 3  primary resources you would want more in you life what would they be? So lets  say we have 1:safety 2:freedom 3:Value then you would go back to number 1 and  ask what would safety give you? and a response might be “permission” and then  you ask what would permission give you? “creative expression”</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Frame 1:(safety)+(permission)+(creative expression)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Frame 2:(freedom)+(openness)+(playful)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Frame 3:(value)+(abundance)+(gratitude)</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So now you have nine accessed states- that you can elicit in a number of  conversational ways, and use them as a base to create and design a  transformational conversation, and keep in mind that this is just an example and  you would find key words or phrases and are fitting to the specific context your  working with and towards, if you need to tap in to even more resources, then you  pick one of the key words and ask what else would having this give you? and they  will always be something more to play with and tap into.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">
<p style="text-align: justify;">The Adventure is now continuing, and I am wondering if you have  ever taken the time, you run through your memories and all the times when your  attention was focused on any one particular task, maybe reading, or watching a  movie, or playing some type of game,and all of this focusing of attention  alludes to a base for hypnosis to be a part of ones primary way of being in the  world, so with a intent of using specific language patterns, that are placed  within a frame work, of  a conversation, or a story/metaphor then you can use  that bridging of attention and focus to evoke a series of states, that allow the  listener and the speaker to tap into and create a set of resources that they  will find most helpful, to any behaviour change that is needed, and using words  to create a series of experiences will allow us to do such a task.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I will be covering a whole host of ways to streamline  languaging skills so they will become just as easy to use and place within you  normal way of talking, and they wont be any need to drop out of normal  conversation into the so called “hypnotic conversation voice” where for some  reason the practitioners, seem to drop their voices an octave or two which for  me loses it’s impact and every word and embedded patterning formation becomes  active and very visible to the ear, which then makes the whole transformational  frame work not as smooth and as streamlined as it could be.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So in the first part I gave a task, to start to listen out for  a series of words,  <strong>“And” “But” “Now” “Stop” “Later” “Because” &amp;  “Just” </strong>hopefully you took the time to give that excise ago, now if you  did you might have had the very strange experience of actually listening and  hearing what people were saying to you and each other, because you had the  intention of listening, for a set of specific verbal references, yet there is  something extra I want you to do, for a few days, when ever you hear one of  those words, in the next few days, I want you to pay attention, to what happens  to your inner world, or your own subjective experience, the reason behind doing  this, is if you get an understanding of how, <strong>Fixed Focused Words </strong>operate inside your own head as this will lead to you being able to at  a later time have some generalized references, that will allow you to design  specific languaging patterns that will lead to accelerating the transformational  coaching session because your have a more functional knowing of how words work  at that subjective level, and because humans share a huge amount of similar  neuro-cognitive processing capacity, then taking the time to notice how  particular sets of words function/work, will give you a level of refinement   that is not normally presented, when learning about hypnosis in general and  conversational hypnosis on the whole.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Ok so now you have come this far, you have a choice to make, as  I aim going to start lifting my game, are you going to join me on this learning  adventure? if yes you will need a few tools, to get the most out of the coming  sessions, you will need a dedicated note book, and a few coloured pens, and then  you can get the best out of what learning’s to come will be easy and your be  taking an active roll in learning how to learn.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I am going to be working in and around a number of themes,  while creating this learning environment, The Back bone and over all base frame  will always be Conversational hypnosis, and the themes I will be using to be  presented in the form of <strong>“Hypnotic </strong><strong>improvised conscious  communicating” </strong>(HICC) which is a blending of conversational hypnosis  and an improvised narrative/ teaching dialog, on a particular  set of themes,  like <strong>confidence</strong>, <strong>self-esteem</strong>, learning &amp;  <strong>accelerated learning</strong>, which are going to be my primary themes,  over the coming weeks, I will venture beyond them themes, yet they will be a  focal point of attention, and I want to invite your attention, and I want you to  recap in a mental snippet, what you have read so far, and what do you recall  from part 1:1 just take about 30 seconds or so, to do that, now ask yourself  what am I aware off in my environment and take just a little time, to notice,  and I invite you to do this throughout your days and start to become conscious  of your consciousness.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This is a different set up to learning, than you might have  come across before, yet in time the pieces will fit together.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">“I am inviting you into the next step in our adventure, your  are going to get yourself a note pad and coloured pens, your going to notice  more of your environment, your going to take more notice of the way  (<strong>FFW</strong>) operate, in the subjective landscape of your own  consciousness and your going to notice that this paragraph has a different feel  to it, and did you notice the shift in its energy?”</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">We will be exploring many ideas in the coming weeks, that will  all allude to becoming more skilful with conversational hypnosis,  so until next  time.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Today I am going to start with the foundations of basic  hypnosis, I will create a history of Hypnosis page for quick referencing, in the  coming weeks, so to begin. I am going to make a crude definition of what&#8217;s  hypnosis is, at this time and will give a more precise definition later on, as  we move through other parts and progress through later additions, “Hypnosis” is  an operation of an internal focus of attention, that bypasses the conscious  faculty of mind and allows us to communicate directly with the deeper levels of  body-mind intelligence, or the <strong>other than conscious mind</strong> and in  so doing, gives us access to be able to recode, reorganise, restructure, and  reframe the subjective components of behaviour, that are being presented, in the  given framework of the transformational coaching session.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A level of fixated focus is required to access this deeper  level of consciousness, and as long as anyone has the ability to hold their  attention for a small amount of time and follow instructions, everyone in effect  has the ability to be hypnotized, and to tap into the powerful untapped  resources, they have to create powerful lasting change.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You might come across the idea of levels of hypnosis, light,  medium and deep or sometimes know as somnambulism, and you might hear and read  that only a small percentage of people, are able to get into the deeper levels,  I find this a pretty funny notion, and even dismiss that idea has being  ridiculous, for the simple reason everything is learnable, so it then just comes  down to a matter of education and making the process easy and fun.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I have taken a huge amount of time in creating a easy to follow  educational process that I have coined the “The Art of Learning without  Learning©” and I will be using the (ALL process©) throughout to aid in the skill  and mastery of being able to apply the skills of Hypnotic communications with  balance, integrity and in a powerful and mindful way.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You will notice &#8220;in-time&#8221;, that I will go off on a series of  tangents at times, as a portion of <a href="http://beyondtrances.com/">this  blog</a> is experimental in its nature, and sometimes, I will be creating stuff  based on questions people ask me, along the way, something else that you may  want to keep in mind is that, I tend to create experiences in relation to  answering questions, this sometimes can create a level of slight frustration,  which is all part of the learning process, yet I have presented, this to you  now, so you have some idea of what to except, if you ever decide present me with  a question.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The best way to learn about hypnosis is to experience and play  with it, so I am going to present a series of exercises for you to play with and  learn from.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>self hypnosis  protocol Phase:1  level:1</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Please read through for the instructions, then take the time to  do the excise.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The time frame is important to keep to, as best you can, you  can allow yourself <strong>1</strong> minute longer than the times I set, yet if  you keep to the set times you will be able to access the deeper levels of  hypnosis within a very short time, through this learning/training  experience.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Time frame 11-15 minutes </strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">First thing I am going to do is invite you to think of a key  word or phrase that you will use as an anchor/stimulus response trigger the Key  word/phrase I am going to use for this, will be “<strong>Hypnosis-now</strong>”  you can by all means use that, or you can have something that is unique just to  you.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">General guidelines for the first 3-5 times you run through  this, it would aid you, if you was to use the same location to practice, the  brain learns faster through the process of association, by practicing the  protocol in the same place each time, for a small number of times, you will  accelerate the process through a level of bonded associations, it might be wise  to turn off any mobiles/cell phones, and to create a place with minimal  distractions, its up to you if you sit or lay down, and you might also consider  loosening any clothing that might restrict comfort and relaxation.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">“<strong>The fast track set up</strong>”</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">With your key word in mind- I want to to close you eyes and in  your imagination, see the word “<strong>Hypnosis-now”</strong> just notice it  for a moment or so, then open your eyes, and repeat this 3 times, Now repeat  again, only this time hear yourself <strong>while </strong>saying and seeing the  key word, 3 times, then repeat 3 more times only this time  <strong>while</strong> your seeing and saying your key word, I want you to press  your index finger and thumb together <strong>all at the same time</strong>, to  do this will take little more than 2-3 minutes, and its ok for it to be this  fast, the amount of repetition that you will do over the coming week, will build  into a solid powerful and strong conditioned response.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The phase 1  protocol</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Please give yourself about 11-15 minutes to run through this  first protocol</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Please sit or lay down, close your eyes and allow, your keyword  in there in your imagination, say your keyword and press your index finger and  thumb together, and just breath in anyway that allows you to feel at ease, scan  your body for where you are feeling comfort and relaxation, and pay special  attention to that comfort, allow your attention to become that comfort, that at  ease, and then move your attention to the top of your head, and then back to the  comfort, then back to the top of your head and allow your body-mind  intelligence, to teach the top of your head how to find comfort and ease, in  just the right ways, then move your attention to your face, then back to the  comfort place then back to your face allowing the body-mind intelligence to  teach your face how to find comfort and ease, and allow the comfort from the top  of your head and your face to blend and melt into each other, creating an even  deeper level of comfort and ease.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now move from your attention to your neck and shoulders, and  move your attention from your neck and shoulders, to that fist comfort location,  then bring your attention back to your neck and shoulders allowing the body-mind  intelligence to teach your neck and shoulders to find the same or a deeper level  of comfort, and allowing the comfort from the top of your head and face to melt  into the growing comfort of your neck and shoulders, now move your attention to  your upper chest, upper back, arms and hands, allowing your self permission to  move and adjust yourself in anyway that allows you to find more comfort and  ease, place you attention back onto your first comfort location, then move you  attention back onto your upper chest, upper back, arms and hands, and once again  allow the body-mind intelligence to teach your upper chest, upper back, arms and  hands, to find comfort and to be at ease, easily and quickly through the  intelligence of the body-mind and the simple automatic mind to muscle feedback,  that happens all by its self.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now allow your attention once again to focus on your buttocks,  belly, thighs, legs, feet and toes, and once again back to your place of comfort  and back to your buttocks, belly, thighs, legs, feet and toes, and again  allowing the body-mind intelligence to teach the buttocks, belly, thighs, legs,  feet and toes, to find comfort and to release and soften, to the deepest level  that is right for this time, now allow the growing comfort and ease to melt  through your whole body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes, and  just allow yourself to bathe in this comfort and ease, for a little while, now I  want you to slowly open your eyes, take a breath then fire off your anchor and  allowing yourself to create a deeper stronger conditioned response, than the one  you set before, and allow yourself to find this deeper comfort for a few  minutes, now smile and while keeping the smile count from 3-2-1 open your eyes,  and you have completed Phase 1.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I would invite you to practice this cycle at least 7 times, the  time frame is up to you, if you have the inclination to do it all in one day,  then allow 20 minutes between cycles, Phase 1 Levels 2&amp;3 are the same, apart  from your aim cut the time cycle by half each time.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So a run down for the for 3 levels would look something  like.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Level 1: 15 minutes x7 cycles</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Level 2: 7.5 minutesx7 cycles</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Level 3: 1-3 minutes x 7 cycles</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The primary purpose for this phase is training you to be able  to get into a deep state of deep hypnosis, we are just going to focus on getting  into a focused state to start with, much later I will cover ideas about  self-programming yet that is still sometime away.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So you now have a stepping stone and a bridge to help you  develop a connection to the state of hypnosis, so now on to the first learning  task, for the main part of this part 1:1 your goal and task is to listen to any  conversation, and to notice, and pick out these words. <strong>“And” “But” “Now”  “Stop” “Later” “Because” &amp; “Just” </strong>but,<strong> </strong>just do it  for now, because it will help you out, later and you really do want to play and  learn, with levels of ambiguity, because the levels and skills for doing this  now, will open up a whole new level of application sets, and you will really  enjoy having such skill your only task is just to starting playing attention to  the listed words either in your own conversations or those of others.</p>
